Held during the school day, Hopkins-Eggleston Discovery Concerts introduce students to the power of a live symphony orchestra through engaging, age-appropriate performances connected to the Virginia Standards of Learning.
Programs are designed for public, private, and home-school groups. Registered teachers receive a digital resource guide before the performance, with materials and activities that help students prepare for and extend their musical experience.
Individual concert themes, recommended grade levels, performance dates, and registration options change throughout the season and are presented through related Website Events.
