Richmond Symphony Community Concerts bring free outdoor musical experiences to neighborhoods across Central Virginia. Evolving from the Symphony’s Big Tent initiative, these performances combine the power of music with meaningful community partnerships and serve thousands of people each year. Each concert is shaped in collaboration with its host community. The goal is not simply to present a performance, but to create lasting benefits, invite community participation, support shared priorities, and cultivate memorable experiences and neighborhood pride.
