RICHMOND SYMPHONY

Symphony Series 1 26-27 Season

Saturday, Sep 19 - Sunday, Sep 20
$102
The Richmond Symphony opens the 2026–27 season with three groundbreaking American voices. Bernstein’s sparkling Candide Overture sets the stage. Artist-in-Residence Xavier Foley brings his signature style to Soul Bass, a genre-defying concerto for double bass and orchestra. William Grant Still’s Afro-American Symphony offers a rich, blues-infused portrait of American life and legacy. A bold celebration of creativity, identity, and the power of music to tell our stories.
