Future Music Educators Symposium
Promising future music educators explore teaching through workshops, mentorship, and supported hands-on experience.
The Future Music Educators Symposium is an eight-week online program for high-school juniors and seniors who demonstrate exceptional promise and a passion for a future career in music education.
Students are selected through teacher nominations and participate in workshops and classes that support their own hands-on teaching encounters. Guest speakers, clinicians, and mentors represent the breadth and diversity of today’s music-education field.
Teachers may nominate up to two students. After nominations are reviewed, selected students are invited to complete the next stage of the application process. Current nomination dates and session details are announced for each spring cycle.
